Storm Claudia tried her best to blow rugby off the map this weekend, wiping out most of our Youth fixtures.

But a few brave age groups managed to dodge the wind and make it onto the pitch. It might have been a quiet weekend, but the teams who played certainly didn’t let the weather have the final say!

Under 12s | Henry & Dexter

Two players really stood out today for their relentless tackling and strong work at the breakdown - well done to Henry and Dexter, who really demonstrated the effort and determination we wanted to see today.

Under 13s | George

This week’s Under 13s Player of the Game went to George. George hasn’t been playing rugby for long — in fact, this is his first season. But he put in multiple big tackles throughout the match, showing courage, commitment, and real defensive grit.

One tackle stood out above the rest: as an opposition player came charging at him, George held his ground, delivered a huge hit of a tackle and turned the ball over for his team. A brilliant moment and a massive contribution.

Well done, George!

Ravens Under 16s | Emily & Dotty

The Ravens U16 travelled to Gloucester to take on the Hurricanes.

The ravens started well and scored a well-worked try, but then spent most of the rest of the half defending their line. The Hurricanes only scored 1 try, mainly down to some excellent defence in the second half, the Ravens came out as a completely different team and ended up deserved winners. The players' player of the match was Emily.

Dotty was awarded player of the match by the opposition.

Ravens Under 12s | Squad

In attack, the girls ran with freedom and confidence, scoring tries from all over the pitch. Every single Raven contributed — carrying hard, supporting well, and keeping the tempo high.

Crunching tackles, thundering carries, and a team spirit that’s becoming impossible to match — this is a squad that’s growing in quality every single week. The effort they bring on a Friday night is paying off in a big way, and it shows every time they step onto the pitch.

We simply couldn’t pick one standout — not after a dominant performance like that. They all earned it.

See everyone again on Friday as we go again!
