2023 marks the 39th year of Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June), when we join thousands of organisations across the UK recognising the invaluable support volunteers make to community clubs like ours.

As a purely volunteer-run organisation, the essential contribution of time and effort offered by our many volunteers is demonstrated through the incredible impact our club makes. From organising community events to providing sporting resources, our volunteers play a vital role in our club's success.

Minis & Juniors Chair Georgina Plant agrees. “With a youth section of more than 359 players, our volunteers are the glue that hold our club together and the oil that enables the place to function. Put simply, our club would not exist in the same way without volunteers supporting every aspect of its day-to-day running”.

So to our volunteer army, thank you. Your selfless commitment is the driving force behind the incredible impact our club continues to achieve, and we are immensely grateful for your unwavering support.

Helping out at our club is great fun and highly rewarding!

Please don’t be shy - if you feel you could support the running of the club in any way, find out more at www.rwbrfc.club/information/vacancies-volunteering or email our Volunteers Co-ordinator.
