Royal Wootton Bassett RFC is thrilled to announce the appointment of Chris Davies as a new coach for our senior squad.

Chris brings a wealth of top-level experience from his current role as lead coach for the Poland 7s squad, alongside his notable work with world-class teams like Fiji 7s and Fiji XVs as a skills coach. His international coaching background will be an invaluable asset, bringing fresh insights and a high-performance mindset to our players.

Chris will work with our senior squad around his ongoing commitments, and we look forward to the positive impact he will make on the team’s development. His appointment aligns perfectly with our commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a culture of growth and excellence at RWBRFC.

Upon joining, Chris shared his enthusiasm:

"I am excited to have the opportunity at RWBRFC as I have a deep passion for the game and the desire to help this young senior group of players develop both on and off the field. I am looking forward to bringing my knowledge and experience to the environment as well as testing myself back in the XVs arena having been involved heavily in 7s over the last two seasons. I want to continue supporting the management in fostering a positive challenging environment where players can grow and reach their full potential.”
