Royal Wootton Bassett Rugby Club is excited to announce a landmark partnership with Viktus, a leading provider of high-performance strength and conditioning solutions tailored to support athletes reaching their peak. This collaboration combines Viktus’ cutting-edge expertise in performance strength and conditioning with RWBRFC’s dedication to developing well-rounded, resilient athletes.

Owned and led by Andy and Nicole Elkins, Viktus brings a wealth of knowledge to RWBRFC. Both Andy and Nicole are highly regarded Strength and Conditioning coaches with extensive experience working with elite athletes, including British Olympic squads and elite professional teams. Through this partnership, Viktus will offer RWBRFC players access to their range of performance-enhancing products, designed specifically to meet the unique demands of rugby.

As part of this partnership, Viktus will also launch The Athlete Development Academy at RWBRFC’s gym facility. This initiative will provide athletes from various sports across the local community with specialised training resources and support, empowering them to excel and reach their highest potential.

Chris Elias, Chairman of RWBRFC, stated:

“Viktus’ dedication to sustainable, long-lasting health and performance perfectly complements our club’s vision. By partnering with Viktus, we’re equipping our players with not only the tools to perform on the field but also the habits that will benefit them throughout their athletic journeys and beyond into later life.”

Nicole and Andy Elkins, Co-founders of Viktus, shared:

“RWBRFC’s vision to develop well-rounded, resilient athletes, fits perfectly with Viktus’ ambition to support the next generation of athletes.  Working alongside RWB RFC enables Viktus to further our athlete development in the local community and support the club with the physicality goals of their players.”

The partnership will extend beyond physicality support, with Viktus offering specialised workshops for RWBRFC coaches, and Strength and Conditioning programmes to assist players recovering from injuries. These initiatives aim to build a supportive environment that enhances not only performance but also the long-term resilience of each player. Through Viktus’ involvement, RWBRFC is setting new standards for holistic and sustainable athletic development at every level of the club.
