Karen & Tim are the parents of Ellie - a member of the club's U11 squad.

Karen & Tim asked about Wooden Spoon and how they fund projects in local communities... They both then announced they were planning to run the Swansea Half Marathon to raise funds for the charity.

Tim is also set to run the Bournemouth Marathon in October carrying a Wooden Spoon Rugby Ball!

Find out more about the couple's challenge and how to sponsor them at virginmoneygiving.com/TimBarton6

Wooden Spoon's aim is to positively transform the lives of disadvantaged and disabled children and young people across the UK and Ireland through the power of rugby.

If you think you could help support the lives of disabled and disadvantaged children in our community and wish to find out more about Wooden Spoon, email dorsetandwilts@woodenspoon.org.uk
