Royal Wootton Bassett RFC has announced important changes to its membership fee structure for the upcoming 2023-24 season. These changes, which were voted for at the recent club AGM, aim to enhance inclusivity and attract volunteers.
Discounted youth membership increased for children of volunteer Coaches and Team Managers
At Royal Wootton Bassett RFC, we greatly value the dedication and hard work offered by our volunteer Coaches and Team Managers. Previously, due to a quirk of our fee structure, individuals with playing children were required to pay higher membership fees compared to non-volunteer members.
So, from this season, we have adopted a fairer approach that significantly increases the discount for children of volunteer coaches and team managers. This step aligns with our commitment to fostering an environment where volunteers feel appreciated and valued for their efforts. By reducing the financial burden on volunteer coaches and team managers, we hope to encourage more individuals to step forward and actively participate in nurturing the talents of our rugby teams.
Renewing membership made easy
For our existing members, we want to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process for renewing their membership for the upcoming season. Detailed information regarding the new fee structure and renewal procedures will be communicated directly to existing members this week. Members will have the convenience of renewing their membership online without the need to complete a new membership form.
Membership fees are available to renew now and will be payable in full by 1st September. We also understand the importance of budgeting and planning, so for added convenience, we offer Direct Debit payment options to make the process even more manageable.
