As our final game of the season approaches we want to pass on our sincere thanks to Cara Nicole, who has been the club’s Lead Physio for the past five seasons, and who has now decided to step down at the end of this season.

Cara has been as much a part of the squad as any player and has helped grow our medical support across the club since she started with RWBRFC. She has dealt with all aspects of injury and recovery with our Senior, Colt and Junior players.

I’m sure there will be many players making their own personal thank you’s to Cara for the hours she has put in to keep them playing the game they love.

I’m sure she’ll miss the bus trips, pimple popping and banter in the changing rooms - but she’ll probably be happy to see the back of Kyle’s relentless moaning and Kit-Kat breaks, Patty’s chocolate body and Jmac’s precious ‘hamstring’.

We wish Cara all the very best with her change of career to accountancy and with the imminent move into her first home this summer.

Thank you and good luck Cara... and please stay away from George on the touchline or we will never see another match report again!
