Just to say what a heartening response we had from this call for help! Over fifty members, including groups of whole families, offered to help with the Big Club Clean Up.
And what a tremendous result we had, with our club and facilities left in a much better state than we've had for a long time.
This is a wonderful example of Bassett at it’s very best!

Your club needs you!
As our rugby playing comes to an end this season, we are calling for our members' help to get our club looking tip-top ready for the start of the new season.
Are you available to help for a couple of hours during our 'Big Club Clean Up' on Saturday 16th July?
We are calling for groups of volunteers to help with some of our annual club maintenance activities, such as:
- Washing and cleaning of our pitchside advertising boards
- Deep cleaning of kitchen
- Cleaning of the rugby posts
- Paths swept
- Changing rooms cleaned
- Litter picking around the field
So bring your muscles and enthusiasm, and your hard work will be rewarded with bacon butties and a screening of the Australia vs England rugby test match on the Big Screen in the Clubhouse.
The clean-up starts at 10am with tasks and activities before, during and after the live international match.
