A big thank you is due to everyone who turned out to help us with our annual Club Clear Up Day.

Good weather and a good turnout of volunteers of all ages meant that a highly productive day was achieved on Sat 6th July - from cleaning fencing around pitches, painting a container, replacing stained ceiling tiles in the clubhouse, cleaning guttering, and more!

Everyone was very ably rewarded with excellent sausage and bacon butties (thank you Susan Davis and team!) A special thanks too should go to Rob Bloxham and Alan Low for identifying and allocating the tasks and jobs.

It is very heartening to be able to report a successful day. There is obvious pride and ownership in our club, as well as good fellowship. Thank you all those involved.

To those not involved on this occasion, fear not, there is always plenty still to be done, and volunteers are welcome at any time!

Mark Wightman, President RWBRFC
